Lots of articles talk about the livability of a city, but this book review is about a book that focuses on the intangible idea of a city’s lovability. This quote sums it up well, “Instead of merely livable, I think we need to start thinking about how we make our cities more lovable. When we love something, we cherish it; we protect it; we do extraordinary things for it.” Which makes complete sense. When people take pride in their area, they will defend it and put alot of effort into maintaining it. Camden used to have citizens like this, how do we create a mindset change to convince its current population that a better Camden is worth fighting for?
